You may be considering placing your order for a Kühling&Kühling RepRap Industrial 3D printer shortly – or already did so – and you’re unsure what to expect for the day of delivery?
Packaging is important as it should guarantee safe transportation from our factory to your door, so we spent some effort in finding the best suited solution over the past months. A while back we finally switched to fully customized wooden transportation boxes, though even the very first RepRap Industrial already was shipped overseas on a wooden pallet by air freight. As to the dimensions we’ve always been exceeding common carboard boxed parcels – and palletized shipping ensures a more careful handling anyway.
For most European destinations we prefer road transportation working closely together with our favourite local forwarder, while further destinations and overseas shippings are travelling via air freight. The wooden boxes care for safe and sound arrival in either case.
